Rendering of Proposed Hotel
NCA is proposing to convert the historic Exchange Building in Newport, RI to a 30-unit extended-stay boutique hotel. Each floor of the three-story building will feature ten suites. The suites will measure 630 square feet and amenities will include a bedroom, bathroom, living/dining area, kitchen, working fireplace, deck and parking. The Exchange was constructed between 1910 – 1915 in historic Washington Square and housed a bank and social club. NCA transformed the Exchange into their Newport headquarters in 2005. The commercial restoration earned a preservation award from Preserve Rhode Island.
