Vernon Court was designed by Carrère and Hastings in 1898. NCA designed a set of As Built record drawings of the structure and worked with the client to obtain permitting and mechanical layouts for the National Museum of American Illustration. The French Chateau’s stucco edifice is remarkable for its monumental scale and beautiful gardens. The tall ceilings and classical details lend an elegant backdrop to the museum’s staggering collection of American Illustration Art.
