Mater Ecclesiae is a private Roman Catholic College that was founded in Wakefield, Rhode Island 1991. In 1998, the institution relocated its campus to Greenville, RI on the site of the former St. Aloysius Orphanage. To meet the criteria for Accreditation, Mater Ecclesiae needed to build a new library that would house 50,000 volumes and provide students with computer access, reference section, and lending services.
