NCA conducted a conditions assessment for the 1847 lighthouse followed by any required preservation work. NCA set about an approach to retain all historic materials wherever possible. Important architectural features and elements of the building that should have been conserved and those that could have been replaced or modified were identified. All the damaged or missing details were faithfully reproduced.
