SALVE REGINA UNIVERSITY – Walgreen Hall – Newport, RI

NCA created a new 186-student dormitory with an administration wing and renovated the adjoining 200-student dormitory in Miley Hall. Walgreen Hall serves as the signature entrance to Salve Regina University and is located on the corner of Narragansett and Ochre Point avenues. Walgreen Hall accommodates first-year students in suite-style living arrangements and also contains a wing dedicated to administrative office space for Campus Life, Career Development and Multicultural Affairs. Housing up to 11 students, each suite in Walgreen Hall shares a lounge/study area and bathroom. The room options include 12 singles, 73 doubles, four triples and four quads. To create a seamless connection between the new and existing buildings, brick and pre-cast paneling and window surrounds that resemble limestone were used for the addition. The renovated lower level features a new courtyard.
